Phansad Sanctuary
Spread over a gigantic area of about twelve hundred acres, Phansaad Sanctuary is a treasure trove of nature and biodiversity. The biodiversity found here attracts various nature lovers, photographers, bird watchers. More than 160 species of birds, 17 of wild animals, 27 of snakes, 80-90 species of butterflies and more than 700 species of plants make this sanctuary a unique attraction.
Kankeshwar Hills
The ancient temple of Kankeshwar on a high hill near Alibaug is another attraction. There are many green hills around this mountain. Being high above the sea level and safe, foreign birds flock here regularly. There are many medicinal plants in the mountains here. Kankeshwar visit with 750 steps is a beautiful nature trek.
