On the way from Murud to Rajpuri, there is a small village called Ekdara. Situated on a small hill, this village is mostly inhabited by fishermen. On the back side of this hill is a small Khora jetty from where Janjira fort can be seen in front. Small boats are also available to go to Janjira Fort from here.

A hill on one side, cattle grazing on the hill, sea on the other side and Janjira fort in between. Such a very panoramic and beautiful view can be seen from Khora Jetty. Absolutely beautiful nature, absolute peace, endless sea next to it, and waves lapping the shore. A fishing boats can be seen frequently here. Small dolphins are sometimes seen in the deep sea here. This scenic place will definitely take you to the another world than our daily busy life.

Watching the sunset from here is a treat. On other beaches the horizon is completely sea but here it’s half sea and half hillside with the setting sun in between. And the reflection on the rock face below. Enthusiastic and keen photographers can experience the pleasure of capturing this rare landscape of nature in their camera.
