Mesa Jewels - Arizona - Vintage Defunct Baseball Teams - Unisex Sweatshirt wlp Jones in his brown fedoraMesa Jewels baseball club brought Class D ball to Mesa, Arizona in 1929 as part of the Arizona State League. Desert towns rarely got professional teams in that era, making the Jewels a rare point of local pride. Brief as their run was, they proved small towns could carry the weight of the game. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear. The Details: Curved ice blue serif text reads "MESA JEWELS"
