An Officer’s Regiment Badge For The 82nd Infantry Regiment By Heinrich Weiss, C.1930S Auction 57 mm x 58 mmA silver badge constructed in the shape of a shield topped by a royal crown, the obverse presents the monogram for Carol II surrounded by oak leaves, a miniature coat of arms for Romania, and various heraldic symbols, an eagle, the inscription R. 82. I for 82nd Infantry Regiment, and the Roman numeral VII (possibly for 7th Company or 7 years of service), the reverse shows a vertical pin, hinge, and clasp, hallmark 900 and crown, maker mark HW for
