Describing the album

The GIMMIES are set to breathe new life into this almost forgotten genre

Jesse Welles "Masks Off" RSD Essential Due 2026-02-17 and remastered for audiophilesMasks Off is a politically charged, guitar heavy folk rock set that reaffirms Jesse Welles role as a vocal critic of modern power structures. Its less about innovation and more about executiondelivering sharp, memorable songs that resonate with his core audience. Fans of protest folk and socially conscious songwriting will find much to appreciate, though purists may expect more stylistic experimentation.
